EMMANUEL Cardinal Wamala has been to virtually every part of
the country. He has spoken to congregations in nurseries, as
in seminaries, universities and churches. His sermons, picked
with great esteem, have however, only been to those present
or listening to his voice through broadcast.
But, that was until Freddie Sekitto came up with a compilation
of much of the homilies and talks the good old retired Kampala
Archbishop has presented to the flock, through the years.
“The many years that I have heard his Eminence Emmanuel
Cardinal Wamala preach…, I can confirm that he has that
skill to ably and clearly proclaim God’s wonderful works
and make Christ real and present to children, the young and
adults,” writes Kasana-Luweero Bishop Paul Ssemogerere
in the preface to Sekitto’s book, ‘Cardinal Wamala’s
Reflections on the Word of God’.
