ANC Wins South Africa Poll
South Africa’s ruling African
National Congress (ANC)
has won the country’s general
election, but has fallen short
of a two-thirds parliamentary majority that would have
empowered it to make changes to the constitution. Final
results gave the party 65.9 per cent of the vote, equivalent
to 264 seats in

Munyonyo Set For Another Commonwealth Meet
TWENTY Commonwealth
countries are expected to send delegates for the forthcoming
Smart Partnership Global Dialogue 2009. The meeting
to take place from July 26 to 29, shall be hosted at
Munyonyo Resort, which had the Commonwealth Heads of
