Farmers Hold 16th Agricultural Fair

LAST month the Uganda National Farmers Federation organised the sixteenth annual Agricultural Trade Exhibition in Jinja town. Under the theme, ‘Targeting Increasing Agricultural Production as the Engine of Economic Growth,’ the fair had show manager Jimmy Kitaka assert that the federation will this year focus on the production sector to augment production techniques, quality and quantity.

He added that the importance of the theme was that the country would take as priority, market for the products, in view of increasing the farmers’ incomes.
