The Comboni Missionaries are an exclusive missionary society. We are called to work mostly out of our countries and environment, often in difficult and challenging situations of poverty, war and injustice. We were founded by St. Daniel Comboni, first bishop of Khartoum (Sudan), who died in 1881 after spending his life at the service of “the poorest and most abandoned”. His motto was “Save Africa with Africa”.

“This is what God asks of you, only this: that you act justly, that you love tenderly, that you walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).
